Springing from the heart of the Church and the life of St. Joseph’s Parish in Mandan, North Dakota, the School of the Holy Family serves the region with an education filled with the love poured forth from the Holy Trinity to each and every adolescent and teacher in our school. The school has the mission to educate and form young men and women as they enter into adulthood. Parents, as the primary educators of their children, are tasked to form their children as vibrant pilgrims in this world filled with the light of life and destined for eternal friendship with God. The School of the Holy Family is here to help parents in that task. We are to help bring God’s children home to Him. With Mary and the Church as our mother, with God as our Father and Joseph as His vicar, we move in loving confidence to bring all of His sons and daughters placed into our care into God’s Pilgrim Church. Our parents give us the great honor to help them raise their children in this mission and for this destiny.
The School of the Holy Family seeks to cultivate a world of discovery, rooted in the benefits of Catholic Tradition, which springs upward to guide students toward God’s right order.
The School of the Holy Family is Catholic and Montessori. Within a community of prayer and work, we guide our students toward fuller integration in the Spiritual Life, Intellectual Life, Moral Life, and Social Life. Continuing the elementary education provided by the schools of St. Joseph and Christ the King, the adolescent school is placed under the life and guidance of the entire Holy Family. The love of Mary and the protection of Saint Joseph bring all children to their child Jesus. We have placed this school under their love and care.
